Vegan Frozen Yogurt Berry Bites

Vegan Frozen Yogurt Berry Bites

Hi there! We’ve recently had some food intolerances pop up in our household, so I’v started experimenting with different alternatives to some favorite meals and snack foods. I’m excited to show you how to make these Vegan Frozen Yogurt Berry Bites that are a great alternative to traditional ice cream treats. The great thing about dairy free yogurts is that they usually have probiotics added so you still get the great health benefits of traditional yogurt. Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

  • Dairy free yogurt. I’ve tried a lot of different brands, and this one is my favorite, but feel free to try a bunch to find which ones you like best.
  • Banana
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries. I used frozen ones from my mom’s summer garden, but you can use fresh or frozen!
  • Silicone baking cups. You can also use silicone ice cube trays or chocolate molds for smaller bites

Start by scooping a small amount of yogurt into your baking cups. Then you’re going to chop up your fruits into small bites, so they’re all roughly the same size as your blueberries.

Now go ahead and place a good amount of fruit into each cup. You can do a variety in each one, or make different combinations. Make sure to leave some room at the top! Now grab your yogurt again and top each cup with more, making sure that it gets down in between the fruits so they all stick together.

Set your cups on a small cutting board or baking tray, and pop them in the freezer. Let them set anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on how large your baking cups are. When they’re fully frozen, go ahead and pop them out!

These can be stored in a freezer bag in the freezer for a few days. If your bites are large like these ones, I recommend serving them in a bowl with a spoon because they can get messy fast! If they’re smaller, you can just pick them up and take a few bites.

I love how well the fruit stays in the middle with this method, and I hope you have fun making these Vegan Frozen Yogurt Berry Bites at home!
