My boys loved helping make sweet Valentine’s Day cards for their friends when they were younger. It was such a fun and special way to learn about their friends and classmates. But, we were often on a pretty tight budget with four young boys and one income. So, we had to get creative some years. And, this DIY Yarn Heart Valentine’s Day Treat craft is super affordable and totally adorable!

Let’s get started on this darling DIY Yarn Heart Valentine’s Day Treat! First, gather all of your supplies. This will make crafting a lot easier.
Begin by cutting out small hearts from the chipboard. If you are using snack food boxes, be sure to paint the chipboard. Wait until the paint fully dries before you move to the next step.
Now, glue a small treat to the chipboard. Then add a drop of glue to the back of the chipboard and carefully place one end of the yarn in the glue.
Then, wrap the heart and treat with yarn until the treat is completely covered.
Next, carefully glue the end of the yarn to the back of the heart.
