Let’s get started on this cute little project! Firstly, gather all of your supplies.
Begin by removing any labels from the candle. We used battery operated candles, but you could use a tall white prayer candle in a glass too.
First, paint a face onto the candle. We used black and orange craft paint. The mouth and eyes were painted with the handle end of the paint brush and black paint to look like lumps of coal. Then, we wiped off the end of the paint brush and used the brush end to paint a small orange triangle nose for our snowman.
Then, cut the felt or fleece into a small rectangle. Make sure it is long enough to wrap around the candle with a little extra. This will be your snowman’s scarf. You can even snip the ends a little to create fringe.
Then, carefully hot glue the scarf and buttons onto the candle.
Now, you can wrap your snowman candle to give as a gift, or make a few more to keep for yourself!
