Printable Days of the Week Closet Organizers

Hello! Whether your school year has just started or is about to start, one of the big morning struggles is over clothes. I know that having to pick out 3 different outfits for my kids in the morning, keeping things like spirit days and theme days in mind before I’ve even finished my coffee, often leads to very weird combinations and missing something. To help prevent the early morning outfit struggles, I created these Printable Days of the Week Closet Organizers to share with you! They’re designed to fit perfectly over a hanger, so they’re easy to use even if you don’t have a traditionally sized closet rod. I also included weekend days and an event label, so you can easily mark outfits for special occasions like recitals, games, or holidays!

I recommend printing these out on cardstock or satin finish photo paper. You can also print them on regular paper and laminate them for durability if you have a laminator.

I’ve found that it’s so much easier to take a look at my calendar and the weather on Sunday night, and go ahead and set up all the outfits for the week ahead of time. It eliminates fights with my older girls about what they’re wearing, and makes it easy for all my kids who are old enough to read to get themselves dressed in the morning with minimal involvement on my part. We’re working on life skills and independence with our older grade school kids, so this is a great addition to their morning routine rather than having me toss clothes at them while they’re procrastinating getting out of bed.

I made teal and pink versions, and all you need to do is to click on the image of the ones you want to print, and you’ll be taken to the page where you can print them out! Use scissors for the straight lines and a craft knife to cut out the circles, but if you have a small circle punch that would be even easier! I hope these Printable Days of the Week Closet Organizers make your morning routine and getting your kids ready for school even easier!
