Supplies:

  • 1 piece of blue construction paper.
  • Glue.
  • Scissors or exacto knife and cutting board.
  • Popsicle sticks.
  • Black construction paper scraps.
  • Crayons.
  • Pencil

Begin by laying out the popsicle sticks on the construction paper to see how many popsicle sticks you will need. Then, place two popsicle sticks on top to create a roof line. Use a pencil to draw the roof line on the top popsicle sticks.

Now, carefully trim the popsicle sticks in the peak with the exacto knife or scissors.

Next, add a line of glue to each popsicle stick and place them on the construction paper to assemble the cabin.

Then, add the popsicle sticks on top of the peak for the roof.

Now, cut out windows, a door, and a chimney from the black construction paper.

Then, glue the door and windows on President Lincoln’s popsicle stick log cabin. Now, carefully add the chimney to the top of the log cabin with a little bit of glue and wiggling.

Finally, use a white crayon to color smoke coming from the chimney.
