Popsicle Stick Sticky Note Holder Craft

Popsicle Stick Sticky Note Holder Craft

Hello there! Today I’m sharing a step by step tutorial for this Popsicle Stick Sticky Note Holder Craft! This is quick to make, can easily be painted, and makes a great teacher gift. It’s also a good way to start kids working with making 3D objects, just use a strong craft glue instead of hot glue for younger kids. Here’s what you’ll need!

Supplies:

  • Popsicle sticks.
  • Sticky notes.
  • Hot glue gun.

Start by lining up 11 popsicle sticks side by side. Gently set your sticky notes on top. This will help us measure where the other sticks go. Set a popsicle stick at the top and bottom of the sticky notes, and make sure everything lines up nicely. Then lift up one of your sticks, and run a line of glue where the stick was across all of the base sticks. Set your stick back on top of the glue and press firmly. Repeat for the bottom stick.

Now line up the side sticks. This time just use a dot of glue where the sticks intersect like shown. Glue down both side sticks. Now you’re going to add another layer of top and bottom sticks the same way you added in the side sticks, just with dots of glue.

Now continue adding sticks, alternating top and bottom sticks with side sticks until your holder is as tall as you would like it.

I made mine to hold a single pack of sticky notes, but your can make this as tall as you need and it can hold multiple packs. If you’d like at this point, you can spray paint your holder or even personalize it with a name!

You’re all done! I hope you had fun making this Popsicle Stick Sticky Note Holder Craft with me! For another easy gift idea, check out this Mod Podge Coaster Craft!
