Paper Plate Snow Man Activity
Supplies:
- 1 Sheet of Black Construction Paper.
- Scrap Sheet of Orange Construction Paper.
- School Glue or Glue Stick.
- Pencil.
- Scissors.
- Hot Glue Gun and glue.
- Ruler.
- Ribbon.
Begin by carefully adding a glob of hot glue to the edge of one paper plate. Place the second plate edge on top of the hot glue, being careful not to burn yourself. This will be the body of your snow man.
Then, use the ruler to draw a top hat on the sheet of black construction paper. Then, cut it out. Save the leftover paper for the snow man’s eyes, mouth, and buttons.

Next, use a pencil or crayon to draw circles on the black construction paper. You will need enough for the buttons, eyes, and mouth. Alternatively, you could use real buttons for the buttons.
Cut out the black circles and a small orange triangle.
Use a glue stick or school glue to apply glue to the top of the top plate. Stick the hat onto the glue.
Now, add glue to the backs of the black circles and stick them onto the plates where the eyes and buttons should be placed. Use the remainder of the black circles to create a mouth for the snow man. Then, add glue to the orange triangle and stick the nose onto the snow man.
Finally, wrap ribbon around the joint section of the plates and tie on the side. You can use a dab of hot glue to secure the snow man’s scarf in place.
