I love making custom goodies for my kids. When they were younger, I made them nap mats and pillows for holidays, and even car rides. But, I can’t sew, so everything was no sew. And this No Sew Heart Pillow was always one of their favorites.

No Sew Heart Fluffy Supplies:

• Fleece.
• Stuffing.
• Heart shape template.
• Scissors.
• Hot glue gun and glue.

This is such a fun way to send your little ones to school or day care with a little piece of home. You could even add scented oils to make it smell more like home, or to calm them a little more at nap or rest time. 

Let’s get started on this sweet no sew heart fluffy pillow project! Firstly, gather all of your supplies. This will make crafting a lot easier.

Start by tracing two hearts onto a piece of fleece. Then, place the smaller heart inside the larger heart. The smaller one should be about 1.5” smaller all the way around. You can do this twice. But, you can also layer two pieces of the fleece and cut out the two larger hearts at one time. 

Then, cut strips around the larger heart up to the edge of the smaller heart. You should have two smaller hearts with tassels around the edge.  

Then, carefully hot glue around the edge of one of the smaller hearts, and secure the two hearts together. But, leave a small opening to add pillow fluff or even fabric scraps. 

Then, stuff the heart shape with pillow fluff.

Then, hot glue the opening closed. 

Once the small heart is stuffed and glued together, tie the tassels into knots around the heart. 

Then, you could add heat transfer vinyl or beads to decorate the heart fluffy. However, if you’re a seamstress, you could sew the edges of the heart together too.
