Hello everyone! I’m so excited to show you how to make galaxy slime today! This is one of my favorite projects to make just because of all the “oohs!” and “aaahs!” from everyone who sees it. It’s also actually super easy to make. Keep in mind that after it’s been played with, all the colors eventually mix together and you end up with a glittery black slime. So if you want to use different colors, keep in mind how it will look once all those colors are mixed together.

How to Make Galaxy Slime
Supplies:
- Elmer’s Glitter Glue in Black, Blue, and Purple
- Baking Soda
- Saline Solution. The up & up or equate brands are both great for slime making.
- Extra glitter. Optional, but a great way to make it extra sparkly.
- Water
- Bowl
- Spatula
- 1/2 cup measure
- 1/2 tsp measure
- 1/4 tsp measure
- 1 tbsp measure
We’re going to be making one color at a time. Start by putting the whole bottle of black glue into your bowl. Add 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 tsp of baking soda, and stir until it’s well mixed.

Now add in 1 1/4 tablespoons of saline solution and start mixing. The glue will start to become solid and pull away from the sides of the bowl. Pull it out with your hands and start to knead it. If it’s too sticky, add a couple drops of saline solution at a time.
When it’s no longer sticky but nice and stretchy, you can set it aside. Go ahead and do the same thing for the other colors. Make sure to wash your bowl and mixing spoon between each color. If you want to add glitter, put it in when you add the water and baking soda, before the saline solution step.
Continue to make slime until you have all three colors made.
Lay all three colors next to each other, and start twisting and mixing them! See the galaxy effect now?

Make sure if you want pictures of your galaxy slime to take them before it gets too mixed up. See the black ball with lots of colored glitter in it above? That’s what your slime will look like after a few minutes of playing with it! I hope you have a blast playing with your new slime and that you had fun learning how to make galaxy slime!
