When I was a little girl my mom had a beautiful garden. And, each year we would gather flowers for the neighbors and drop them off for May Day. Some years my mom even decorated our tether ball pole as a May Pole. And, while I don’t have the same green thumb my mom has, we still celebrate May Day every year. But, I always do something a little more special for my mom. And, this DIY Flower Bouquet Card Craft is one of my favorite May Day projects!

May Day Project Supplies:
- White cardstock.
- Scissors.
- School glue.
- Paint.
- Newsprint or newspaper.
- Ribbon.
- Round shape to use as a stamp.
Let’s get started! This sweet DIY Flower bouquet would be a great birthday card or Mother’s Day card too. And we love versatile projects!
First, gather your supplies. Our newspaper had already been recycled so, I printed up a vintage looking newspaper print.
Once I had all of my supplies, I cut the newsprint into an arrow shape. After I was happy with the shape, I used school glue to glue it to the cardstock.

Then, I poured some paint onto a paper plate, and lightly dipped my wooden disk stamp into the paint. Next, I stamped the paint onto the paper above the newsprint. After the paint dries, you could add a little depth with white paint or even a few coordinating colored markers.
Finally, I tied a small bow with ribbon and glued it onto the newsprint paper. This is totally optional, but I really liked the extra pizzaz it added to the bouquet!
That’s it! This simple DIY flower bouquet card was a lot of fun to make, and I know it will bring a smile to anyone that receives it! And, I hope this fun craft project inspires you to share some May Day flowers with your friends and neighbors this year!
