We recently had a camping themed birthday party for my mom. She had a big birthday, and we wanted to really celebrate! And, since my family and I bought her a camper for her birthday, we thought it would be fun to host a camping themed party. However, I knew we would need to have a fun activity for kids of all ages at the party, and this DIY felt camping pennant craft was the perfect project for everyone!

DIY Felt Pennant Supplies:
- Felt in several colors – we used gold, grey, green, black, and white.
- Craft paint.
- Scissors.
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks.
This is such a fun craft project to make with your little ones. Additionally, it can easily be customized to fit your party theme or room decor.

Let’s get started on this darling DIY Felt Camping Pennant Craft! Firstly, gather all of your supplies. This will make crafting a lot easier.
Begin by cutting your base layer of felt into a large triangle. I folded the sides into the middle to create the perfect pennant shape.
Now, cut two white strips of felt. One will be cut in half and used to make tassels. But, the other should be a little wider. That one will be used to make the end of the pennant flag.
Then, cut out grey mountains, small triangle green trees, and even a tiny black bear. Now, cut zigzags to trim the grey mountains to fit on the pennant. Additionally, you can use the excess pieces to create dimensional mountains.
First, glue the white tassels on the short end of the triangle. Then, cover them with the last piece of white felt.

Then, glue the layers of mountains together and glue them onto the pennant. However, be sure to line them up along the edge of the pennant. Then, glue the trees and bear onto the mountains.
Finally, use craft paint to add a moon and stars to the pennant.
