Easy Lady Bug Antenna Craft for Kids

How to make a last minute adorable ladybug costume hat for kids.

During a recent trip to our local children’s museum, one of the staff members read a cute ladybug book and then invited the kids to make their own ladybug craft.  It was really easy and very cute.

What You Need to Make Ladybug Antennas:

• Red construction paper (two strips, and two hearts)
• Black construction paper (cut into circles)
• Two black pipe cleaners
• Scissors
• Glue and/or staples

Ladybug Antenna Craft Supplies

Connect two of the red strips together and then measure it to fit around your kid’s head before trimming off any extra and fastening the ends together.

Glue on as many of the black spots as your ladybug wants.

Curl your pipe cleaners around a pencil to make antennas. On one end you’ll attach the hearts. The other end should be fastened to the base you made.
