Halloween is just around the corner… but just around the next corner is the Day of the Dead! Día de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1 in which families and friends gather in a day of remembering loved ones who have passed away. The day is celebrated in different ways in different parts of the country, but there are a few things that many celebrations share – mostly festivals, parades, and honoring the dead with beautifully decorated sugar skulls and marigold flowers.
We’ve created a cute set of party printables for you to celebrate Dia de los Muertos in a simpler way – cupcake toppers, water bottle wrappers, mini candy bar wrappers and thank you tags decorated with a wonderful skull , AKA a calavera. Here’s also a great collection of Mexican crafts for kids to make.

I love the Day of the Dead – this Mexican tradition has got to be one of the most beautiful holidays ever celebrated. I know skeletons aren’t all that pretty – but they sure are in Mexico on November 1st!
