Each year our family shares what they are thankful for before we sit down to a hearty Thanksgiving meal. We have written it on napkins to save, we have written it on table clothes, paper feathers, and we have simply said it. It is one of my favorite family traditions. And it is an important-art of our celebration every year. This year, I thought it would be fun to make some cute little clothes pin turkey craft projects. We will each write what we are thankful for this year on a slip of paper and put it in the turkey clothes pin.

This darling little turkey craft is super easy to make, and is a fun craft for all ages. And, it can be used to hold small treats at the kids dinner table, or name cards at the adult table. But, it can even be used as adorable little menu cards too!
Let’s get started! First, gather your supplies. You will need one half of a sheet of construction paper for each little turkey craft.
Begin by cutting the construction paper in half lengthwise. Then, fold one half accordion style to make a fan. After you fold the paper into a fan, trim the top in a curve or even a point to add a little dimension to the fan. Then, staple the uncut end to hold the fan.

Second, add a thin line of glue to the back of the clothes pin. Then, place the folded fan on to the glue.
Third, use the markers to draw a little face on the turkey. But, don’t forget the gobble!
Finally, use this cute little turkey as a place card, menu holder, or blessing holder!
