I’m so excited to share another one of my favorite family recipes today. This Chocolate Banana Pudding Pie is my go-to for parties and potlucks, and is super fast to put together. Here’s what you’ll need!
Chocolate Banana Pudding Pie
Ingredients:
- Graham or Oreo pie crust
- Instant Chocolate pudding
- Instant Banana Cream pudding
- Whole milk
Start by putting your chocolate pudding mix in a medium bowl, and then add 1 1/2 cups of cold whole milk. This is less than is suggested on the package, because it will set up firmly enough to be able to be cut and hold it’s shape. Now mix it throughly with a whisk until it can form peaks like this when you remove the whisk.

Spread the pudding smoothly into your pie crust with a spatula, and set it in the fridge while you make the banana pudding. When it’s ready, gently spread it on top of the chocolate pudding.
Two packages prepared this way fully fill a pie crust. Now just set it in the fridge and let it chill for 2-3 hours to fully set up. Now you just have to cut slices and serve! You can also add whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top for a prettier presentation at an event, but we keep it simple when it’s just for a family dessert night.
I hope you enjoy this Chocolate Banana Pudding Pie! Sometimes pudding pie can be difficult to serve to a large crowd, so I also have another serving option for you. You can make the pie the same way, but use the individual mini graham cracker pie crusts! You can make one or two for everyone at the party, and then cover them with aluminum foil for transportation. I’ve made these for 50 people before, and it still only takes just a few hours. Don’t forget to try different flavors combinations too!
